Bad Data Leads to Bad AI
Who, what, or where did you find your greatest inspiration in 2023?
We got the greatest inspiration from our customers, who continued evangelizing our product, finding new use cases, and seeing the value we provided them during a turbulent time! With customer spending decreasing and economic uncertainty, we saw our ability to help them significantly reduce their return rates and set record-breaking holiday sales. Seeing our impact, especially fellow entrepreneurs, was the greatest motivation for me and the Yofi team!
If you could rename one popular tech term to be more honest and descriptive, what would it be and why?
“Fraud” because it’s an umbrella term that is used to cover risky behaviors or activities but undervalues the complicity of risk. Thousands of different types of fraud impact an organization, and the nuanced differences and names are really important to solving the issue.
