She works with technology companies and venture capital investors on a broad range of transactional legal matters, including day-to-day counseling, entity formations and corporate governance issues, protection and commercialization of intellectual property, equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Sarah has overseen more than 225 venture capital financing and M&A deals at Silicon Legal.

Before joining SLS, Sarah worked with Colorado-based startups and was the managing member of Entrepreneurial Solutions, a business consulting company in Boulder. Prior to earning her law degree, Sarah enjoyed a career in book publishing.

Sarah received her JD and MBA degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her undergraduate degrees in English and Corporate Communications with a minor in business from the University of Texas at Austin.

Outside of the office, Sarah spends her time negotiating with her kids, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, perusing bookstores, and trying out new restaurants.
