Silicon Legal Opens Fourth Office in Austin, Texas

Austin, TX – Silicon Legal, the premier boutique law firm serving emerging technology companies and venture investors, recently opened its new office in Austin, Texas to accommodate rapid growth and leverage the area’s diverse client base. The new location joins SLS’ existing presence in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Denver.

The Austin office will be led by Brian Schlinkert, long-time Partner and trusted advisor to dozens of startups and high-profile investors. With the new space located in the heart of downtown Austin, SLS is poised to plug its deep experience in the ECVC space directly into the market to help local companies do great things.

Reflecting on the Austin tech community, Brian observed, “there are many obvious reasons to be in Austin; however, in the end, it was the people that really drove us here. Between our current Austin client base and the new connections with local entrepreneurs, businesses, and investors, it’s become absolutely clear that the startup community in Austin is filled with a huge number of incredibly dynamic people fueled by the same entrepreneurial spirit that drives Silicon Legal, and our clients, to blaze new trails. Put another way, Austin may be weird, but it’s for sure our kind of weird.”
