DENVER, CO – Silicon Legal Strategy today announced that Shannon Meyer and Cassie Grant have joined the firm in its Denver, Colorado office.
Shannon is a managing associate and advises companies throughout their lifecycles, from formation to exit. She focuses on entity formation, debt and equity financing, general corporate governance, commercial transactions, and M&A. She also represents investor clients extending from small angels to large private equity firms.
Prior to joining Silicon Legal, Shannon was an associate at Sage Law Group based in Boulder, Colorado, working with early stage startups and investors across a wide variety of industries. Before law school, Shannon had careers in corporate finance and international public relations. Shannon received her JD from the University of Colorado Law School and her undergraduate degree from UCLA.
Cassie concentrates on corporate and securities law, with more than 15 years of experience in working with emerging growth companies, venture capitalists and investment bankers in a variety of corporate and securities transactions, including VC financings and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining SLS, Cassie was Manager – Contracts, Equity and Governance at a high-growth, venture-backed technology company in Denver, Colorado. Prior to that position, she was a Corporate Paralegal in the emerging companies, corporate and securities group at Cooley LLP in Broomfield, Colorado. Cassie received her undergraduate degree in health and wellness from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
