San Francisco, CA – Silicon Legal Strategy announced today that Nikhil Sharma has joined the firm as a managing associate in its San Francisco office. Nikhil represents technology companies at every stage of the corporate life cycle, including in entity formation, general business and corporate governance matters, debt and equity financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Nikhil also advises venture capital investors on their investments into technology companies at every stage and level of sophistication.
Prior to joining SLS, Nikhil served as Assistant General Counsel at Andrew Ng’s venture fund and studio, AI Fund. Prior to that, Nikhil represented private and public companies and venture funds as an associate with Fenwick & West in Mountain View.
Nikhil received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
“In returning to practice at a law firm, I was looking for a firm at the leading edge in client service and sharp on the most sophisticated legal issues venture-backed companies and investors face, so SLS was a natural home for me,” reflected Nikhil.
“Nikhil’s experience advising technology companies and investors, including from an in-house vantage point, gives him a practical understanding of the legal and business challenges our clients face at each stage of growth,” said Andre Gharakhanian, Managing Partner of Silicon Legal Strategy. “His perspective will be a valuable addition to our team as we advise founders and investors on day-to-day corporate matters and complex transactions.”
