Silicon Legal Welcomes Former Cooley Associate Kirsten Roggeveen

Denver, CO – Silicon Legal Strategy announced today that Kirsten Roggeveen has joined the firm as an associate in its Denver office. Kirsten advises startups, founders, and venture capital investors through every stage of growth — from company formation and initial capitalization to debt and equity financings, corporate governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Silicon Legal, Kirsten represented emerging companies and venture capital firms as an associate with Cooley LLP in New York. She has also spent time in the venture capital ecosystem with O’Leary Ventures and with the Creative Destruction Lab incubator program.

“I joined Silicon Legal because the firm is comprised of a roster of top-tier attorneys that operate with the agility and efficiency of a lean, tech forward practice,” said Kirsten. “I am thrilled to be joining a team that prioritizes thoughtful and personal approaches to each and every client relationship.”

“Kirsten’s background of legal experience and direct exposure to the venture ecosystem will be incredibly valuable to our clients,” said Sarah Boulden, Partner at Silicon Legal and head of its Denver office. “Her thoughtful approach, business acumen, and enthusiasm for working with high-growth companies make her a fantastic addition to our team.”
