Silicon Legal represented Cowboy Ventures as they co-led LaunchNotes’ $1.8 million seed round.
LaunchNotes’ platform helps businesses communicate their software updates internally to staff and externally to customers. In addition to Cowboy Ventures, the financing was co-led by Bull City Ventures, and included additional participation from Tim Chen (general partner, Essence Ventures), Eric Wittman (chief growth officer, JLL Technologies), Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan (VP Product, LinkedIn), Scot Wingo (co-founder and CEO, Spiffy), Lin-Hua Wu (chief communications officer, Dropbox) and Steve Klein (co-founder, Statuspage).
The Silicon Legal client team included Coleman Cannon, Ryan Southerland, Michael Young and Noah Driggs.
