Silicon Legal represented Floodgate as they joined IRL’s $170MM Series C financing. The rounds also mints IRL as a new unicorn with a $1.17 billion valuation.

IRL is a social calendar app that focused on pulling in popular online events from places like Live Nation, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and others.

The round was led by SoftBank with participation from, in addition to Floodgate, Dragoneer, Goodwater Capital and Founders Fund.
