Bess Blumenfeld is a managing associate at Silicon Legal Strategy.

Bess represents emerging companies and investors in formation and startup matters, venture capital equity and debt financings, mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions, and in day-to-day corporate matters.

Prior to joining SLS, Bess was a senior associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where she advised startups, late-stage private companies and venture capital investors.

She began her career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she advised public and private companies and private equity investors on M&A and capital markets transactions, and later practiced at Gunderson Dettmer, representing venture-backed private companies and investors across the corporate lifecycle.

Bess received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, Order of the Coif, and her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. She is licensed to practice law in California.

When not at work, Bess enjoys traveling, Pilates, cooking and spending time with her twin toddlers.
