Joe Kim is an associate at Silicon Legal Strategy.

Joe advises emerging growth companies and investors on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including entity formations, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining SLS, Joe was an associate in the Palo Alto office of Cooley LLP, where he represented startups, late-stage private companies, public companies, and venture capital investors. Before practicing law, Joe taught sixth grade English Language Arts in Massachusetts as a Teach for America Corps Member.

Joe received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Amherst College.

When not at work, Joe enjoys listening to live music, rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers, and finding the best pastry/coffee spots with his wife.
