Laura Weigant joined the firm in September 2012 and holds the position of Assistant Controller.

Prior to joining the SLS team, Laura spent 11 years as the Marketing and Finance Manager of Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE), a nonprofit trade association fostering entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, and education. SVASE focused on assisting technology and life science entrepreneurs through concept phase, business planning and investors and funding.

Laura holds a AS degree in accounting from Cañada College. She has over 20 years of progressive financial experience and small business administration.

Personal interests include volunteering her services at her church, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
