Michelle Chern is a managing associate at Silicon Legal Strategy.

Michelle represents emerging companies and investors in formation and startup matters, venture capital equity and debt financings, mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions, and in day-to-day corporate matters.

Prior to joining SLS, Michelle was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in San Francisco, where she advised startups, late-stage private companies and venture capital investors. Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Michelle was an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in its New York office, where she advised public and private companies and private equity investors on M&A and capital markets transactions.

Michelle is licensed to practice law in California and New York. She received her law degree from New York University School of Law, where she was a J.D. Scholar in the Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law and Business. Michelle received a B.A. in Political Science with Highest Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys tinkering with ceramics, yoga and playing Pips.
