Silicon Legal represented Hummingbird Ventures as they joined Automata’s $40 million Later-Stage VC round.

Automata is developing the world’s fully automated lab bench and its accompanying software to support innovation in life sciences laboratory research.

The round was led by Dimension and included investments from, in addition to Hummingbird Ventures, Octopus Ventures, Isomer Capital, Possible Ventures, Aldea Ventures, and A.P. Moller Holding.

Silicon Legal’s Hummingbird Ventures client team includes P. Charu Satia, Ryan Southerland, Madelyn Tarr, and Vishal Ganesan.
