Silicon Legal represented Munich Re Ventures as they joined FloodFlash’s $15 million Series A round.

FloodFlash is an insurance technology company that combines computer models, cloud software and internet-of-things sensors into flood cover that protects those the insurance industry has left behind.

The round was led by Buoyant Ventures, and included investments from, in addition to Munich Re Ventures, Sony Financial Ventures/Global Brain, MS&AD Ventures, PropTech1, Local Globe and Insurtech Gateway.

The Silicon Legal client team included Andre Gharakhanian, Ryan Southerland, Ian Peck, Jackie Ammon, Meghan Fitzpatrick, Kevin Morrissey, Shannon Meyer, Tommy Szalasny, and Vishal Ganesan.
