Mike Perez is a senior associate at Silicon Legal Strategy.

Mike advises innovative technology companies on a wide range of business-related legal issues, including entity formation, corporate governance, debt and equity financings, and commercial contract drafting and negotiation. Mike also advises venture capital clients on their debt and equity investments in existing and prospective portfolio companies.

Prior to joining SLS, Mike served as Chief Executive Officer of Pay Tgthr, Inc., a financial technology company based in San Francisco. Earlier, he was an associate with Cooley LLP, where he advised startups and public companies on matters of corporate governance, debt and equity financings, and securities compliance; and, he was an associate with Littler Mendelson P.C., where he litigated employment matters.

Mike received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and his B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.

When not at work, Mike enjoys playing his PRS CE 24 and cooking up something delicious for dinner nightly.
