Silicon Legal represented Munich Re Ventures as they joined Salient’s $5.3 million seed round.

Salient uses ocean data and ML to make the world’s most accurate long-range weather forecasts.

The round was led by Wireframe Ventures, and included investments from, in addition to Munich Re Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures, Endeavor8 and others.

The Silicon Legal client team included Ryan Southerland, Andre Gharakhanian, Ian Peck, Meghan Fitzpatrick, Kevin Morrissey, Shannon Meyer, Jon Loebl and Vishal Ganesan.
