Silicon Legal represented Munich Re Ventures as they joined Twelve’s $130 million Series B round.

Twelve is a carbon transformation company eliminating emissions by turning CO2 into essential products that today are made from fossil fuels.

The round was led by DCVC, and included investments from, in addition to Munich Re Ventures, Capricorn Technology Impact Fund, Carbon Direct Capital Management, Breakout Ventures, Elementum Ventures and Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund.

The Silicon Legal client team included Ryan Southerland, Andre Gharakhanian, Ian Peck, Meghan Fitzpatrick, Kevin Morrissey, Larry Suh, Jon Loebl and Vishal Ganesan.
