Madelyn Tarr is a managing associate at Silicon Legal Strategy. Madelyn represents emerging companies at all stages of growth on entity formation, corporate governance and other day-to-day matters, debt and equity financings, and M&A and other strategic transactions.  Madelyn also advises venture capital investors on their investments into technology companies.

Prior to joining SLS, Madelyn was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she advised public and private companies and venture capital investors on various corporate transactions. Madelyn received a J.D. and LLM in Law and Entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Duke Law and Technology Review and Executive Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law. She received a B.A in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Miami.

In her free time, Madelyn enjoys playing golf and reading books on feminist topics.
