Aaliya Kapadia is an associate at Silicon Legal Strategy.

Aaliya advises ambitious startups and venture capital firms on key business milestones as well as day-to-day corporate guidance – from company formation and capital raises to board structure and M&A transactions. Raised in Silicon Valley, she brings a genuine commitment and homegrown passion for helping both young and seasoned founders build and scale thriving businesses.

Prior to joining SLS, Aaliya worked with startups and venture capital companies as an Associate with Orrick’s Technology Companies Group in Santa Monica. Before joining Orrick, Aaliya was an Associate at Fenwick & West in Santa Monica, where she provided a broad range of corporate services to startups and emerging companies in the technology, AI and life sciences sectors.

Aaliya received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, with a specialization in Public Interest Law and Policy and Critical Race Studies. She received her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Interpersonal Communication from Santa Clara University.

Away from the office, Aaliya enjoys snuggling with her dog on the couch, scuba diving and traveling (South African safari is her favorite, so far).
